After a very successful launch of the new PADI App in July that has produced all-time record usage, engagement and stability, we’ll begin sunsetting the PADI Training App over the next few months. A notification alerting users has been added to the Training App as of the end of September 2025, with a second notification planned for the end of October.

By the end of November, the Training App will no longer be available. At that time, all app-based eLearning will take place on the new PADI App – online and offline utilizing content that has been downloaded to the device by the user.

Once the Training App has been successfully sunset, we’ll begin sunsetting the PADI Adventures App.

How This May Impact You

Customers may ask you what they should do.

If they are existing students already learning via the Training App, they should continue to do so. If they are a new student that hasn’t begun using the Training App, they should download the new PADI App instead for all their eLearning needs.

You will need to transition to the new PADI App as well if you have not done so already.

After installing the new PADI App, download all the important course material you utilize for instructional purposes to ensure that you have the most current versions available from PADI, whether you are online or offline.

Recommended Actions

  1. Instruct all students that are starting a new course to use the new PADI App.
  2. Encourage existing students to begin using the new PADI App once they have completed the eLearning for the course they are currently working on.
  3. Install the new PADI App on your device and begin using it instead of the Training App.
