
In late November 2016 the PADI Regional Headquarter in Bristol was home to a very special event. Store owners and managers from all over the EMEA territory gathered for the two day PADI Business Academy (PBA), the cutting edge marketing programme which focuses on current business acquisition and retention strategies and tactics. To reflect the multi-cultural environment that PADI draws strength from, this exceptional PBA was presented simultaneously in 5 languages (Spanish, French, English, Italian and German) by expert PADI staff and Regional Managers.
Thirty-three international attendees took part in a series of presentations and workshops. By the end of the programme they had gained insights into, and hands on experience with, the latest social media platforms, marketing and business strategies and also visited the PADI office, giving them the opportunity to meet PADI staff.
As well as an updated look at Social Media, Website enhancement and CRM, the 2016 PBA included new, cutting edge, presentations such as Online Advertising, Email Marketing and more. As marketing and business development techniques are constantly evolving, the attendees had a chance to develop precious skills to grow not only their PADI Dive Centre business, but the dive industry as a whole.
The PBA was also a chance for PADI Dive centre owners to meet and interact with other business owners from all around EMEA during the evening socials, enabling an ever stronger PADI community.
