Why revise a world-class course with a solid foundation that provides complete training to new instructors?

As part of PADI’s commitment to cutting edge diver education, the Instructor Development Course (IDC) was  reevaluated and updated. This revision enhances the curriculum and adds new delivery methods for the independent learning portion while delivering content in languages not previously offered.

The IDC is, and always has been, about PADI® Course Directors and IDC Staff Instructors teaching candidates to be competent and confident PADI Instructors. The revised IDC builds on the strength of the curriculum and continues to prepare new instructors for careers as dive educators.
