Welcome back!
Follow these simple steps to regain your active or teaching status as a PADI Pro.
Thank you for renewing your PADI® membership; it’s great to have you back!
Teaching scuba diving allows you to share your love of the aquatic world with others while doing what you enjoy – being in, around and under water. PADI Divemasters, Open Water Scuba Instructors and Assistant Instructors are the most sought-after dive professionals around the world because they’ve completed the program that sets the standard for training dive professionals.
In order to regain teaching status as a PADI Instructor or Assistant Instructor, or active status as a PADI Divemaster, there are a few simple steps you will need to complete:
1. View the Member Update Webinar in a language relevant to you.
During the Member Update Webinar, you will learn about PADI’s Mission, Vision and the Pillars of Changesm and the important role you play in helping save the ocean. You will also discover tools available to you as a PADI Professional to help keep you up-to-date and make your day-to-day job easier. You will review the importance of risk management and receive tips and tools to help mitigate risk when teaching or supervising divers. Plus, you’ll learn about ongoing professional-level updates, including Training Bulletin Live and Member Forum, education and support available and explore the next steps to regaining active or teaching status.
2. View all relevant Training Bulletin LIVE Webinars for the time your membership was lapsed.
For example, if you were last renewed three years ago, you should watch the Training Bulletin LIVE Webinars for the last two years.
3. Once you have completed the above requirements please submit the Member Update Webinar Completion Form to your local area office.
If you have any questions, please contact your local PADI Regional Training Consultant or the Customer Relations team for your region.
Note: If you have not already paid your annual membership renewal fee, you will need to do so, plus meet any regional insurance requirements, prior to regaining Active or Teaching status.
