Originally from Sweden, His 25+ years in the industry coupled with his 6+ years working at PADI, makes him uniquely qualified in servicing his members with first-hand knowledge and expertise in growing and assisting members in the Middle East.

Firas’ passion for the ocean started during his childhood. Growing up beside the Red Sea in the city of Jeddah, Firas has been a PADI Instructor since 1991 and enjoys serving the PADI Membership in his roles as a PADI Course Director. Fluent in English and his native Arabic, Firas will continue to provide top-class support to the Middle East members in his role as Regional Manager.

Yahya was born in Egypt and grew up in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, where he started diving in the early nineties as a hobby. Turning his passion into a profession, Yahya become a PADI Instructor in 1994 and started working as an Instructor in Jeddah until his move to Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt in 1995 to work as a diving instructor. Yahya qualified as a PADI Course Director in 2007 and since that time has gained great experience in training programs for Instructor Development in Egypt, some Gulf countries and Greece.

Amir was born in Egypt and has been working as a PADI Pro since 2004. Amir started working for PADI EMEA in 2012 and has held a variety of roles in customer services and sales. Currently, Amir is servicing the Middle East as a Regional Training Consultant and PADI examiner.

Kieran was born in Cornwall, United Kingdom. He later moved to Bristol where he studied business and events management and has been working as a marketer since. Kieran has joined PADI as our Marketing Executive for the Middle East and Egypt.

Kareem Ahmed

Kareem was born in Egypt and lived there most of his life. He moved to the UK after finishing secondary school and is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business Management and Marketing. He started working for PADI EMEA in January 2023 as a Customer Relations Consultant, and he is also a PADI diver.
