40 PADI Members joined the campaign “Breakfast on us” held in Jeddah Corniche, as part of the awareness-raising campaign on safe driving.

Saudi PADI Members (Instructors and Divemasters) took part in the “Breakfast on Us” campaign, distributing meals to drivers and passers-by during ‘Iftar’ (the evening meal with which Muslims end their daily Ramadan fast at sunset).

The campaign, organized by Benchmark as part of the National Bank’s program for Community Responsibility was launched by Panorama FM with the aim to promote safe driving and improve road safety.

PADI Instructor and leader of the team – Rabih Al Haber, explained that the decision to join the campaign was driven by the desire to share and deliver the concept of ‘safety’:  familiar principle to all divers, who consider safety a priority when carrying out diving activities!

Rabih pointed out as well that it is common for divers to organize and participate in social events aimed at serving, educating and helping the community.
