Maximizing the Conservation Action Portal’s Potential for Dive Professionals

CAP is more than a conservation platform. It can be a powerful business tool that strengthens your brand, builds customer trust, and sets you apart as a leader in sustainability and marine conservation. Here’s how to make the most of it.

Showcase Your Impact and Increase Customer Engagement and Loyalty

CAP’s global conservation map makes your dive center’s efforts visible to divers worldwide. The more you engage, the more visibility and credibility you gain. Use CAP to share real-time conservation results with your customers. Promote your impact through newsletters, social media, and in-store displays to inspire divers and keep them coming back.

Offer Conservation-Focused Dive Experiences

Eco-conscious divers are looking for operators committed to ocean health. Position yourself as a top choice by integrating Dive Against Debris survey dives or Global Shark & Ray Census Surveys (coming soon!). Additionally, highlight Adopt the Blue sites into your dive offerings.

Turn Conservation Into a Business Asset

CAP gives you the tools to market your conservation leadership effectively. You can use campaign updates and share real-time data from approved surveys to create compelling marketing content, showcase your actions, and help you stand out competitively.

Motivate Your Team, Your Dive Professionals, and Your Divers

PADI Dive Centers and Resorts can assign leaders to conservation projects and track their impact through the Conservation Action Portal. Make conservation part of every dive to inspire stewardship.

You can also boost engagement in your professional-level courses with friendly competition among Divemaster and Instructor candidates. Compete to remove the most debris or complete the most surveys, making conservation a fun and rewarding challenge.

Stay Ahead With New Conservation Initiatives

CAP continuously updates with new citizen science programs. The Global Shark & Ray Census and upcoming initiatives provide fresh opportunities to engage divers and expand your services.
