The new padi.com features an improved interface, better navigation and an upgraded dive center and resort locator. Dive center owners in particular should visit the new Dive Shop Locator for a couple of reasons:
#1 Check out the improved search functionality.
#2 Make sure your dive center flag is positioned correctly.
If your flag doesn’t appear / appears in the wrong spot:
- Go to padimembers.com and login as your store
- Click on IRRA Toolbox
- Click on Position your PADI Dive Shop correctly on the new PADI Dive Shop locator
We have a new feature called The PADI Web Connector. This allows you to enhance your dive center listing with additional information such as: hours of operation, rental equipment, travel opportunities, etc. A small blue “i” will appear next to your listing indicating that more information is available.
The information can be updated as often as you like. The upgrade costs $120US for one year – ($10 per month).
As an alternative (or in addition to) the The Web Connector, we’re also offering sidebar ads. These ads are also $10/month (billed quarterly) and are geographically targeted.
Ads appear on the right side of the search as a sponsored listing. If you upgrade to the Optional ‘i’ it appears here too. The ads are available on a first come first serve basis and appear in order of purchase date.
To see how the ads will look, run a search for “Seattle.” Two stores in the area have already signed on for the geo-targeted ads.
Any PADI Member, whether a dive center or independent instructor may purchase one of these ads. For additional info, please contact: Annette Ridout at 800 729 7234 ext. 2380 or email [email protected]
