A quick bio from Sabrina:
I work in the Marketing Department as a Marketing Coordinator, looking after our campaigns but also assisting with the communications we send out and the different International Dive Shows that PADI attend. I am originally from Vienna, Austria but my love for vinegar, tea and a Sunday roast made me stay in England.
When did you first learn to dive? I had my first dive after I started working for PADI in April this year.
How many dives have you done? Just 6 at the moment!
What is the first bit of dive equipment you bought? I was lucky, my mum who is a PADI Advanced Diver gave me all her dive equipment which fits perfectly.
If you could only pack one bit of dive equipment to take with you on a trip what would it be? My mask as it fits me perfectly.
What is your favourite dive site in the UK? So far Swanage, as I had my first dive in the ocean there.
What is your favourite dive site in the world? I have never been diving outside the UK but for now I would love to go to the “Green Lake” (Grüner See) in Austria and to experience it after the snow melts.
What song do you currently like to listen to before you go diving? Whatever song is playing at the radio on my drive to the dive site. I will sing to every song, never mind if I know the lyrics or not 😉
What is your favourite animal underwater? Again, that’s a tricky one as I haven’t seen many animals underwater so far but I guess it would be a trout as this was the first underwater animal I have ever seen.
What animal would you love to see on your next dive? I would love to see whales, although I think that’s a massive jump from a trout 😉
What dive site is at the top of your to wish list? Again Green Lake (Grüner See) in Austria.
What sort of food do you pack in your lunch box to eat between dives? Biscuits, hot tea and a banana
If you could go diving with someone (dead or alive) who would it be? My mum although she stopped diving around 5 years ago.
