PADI White Rose Academy is pleased to launch a range of vocational programmes aimed at developing professional skills in the workplace. Vocational courses are designed to help you learn in a practical way about a specific job area.

PWR Academy, (PADI White Rose Academy) is a team of experts drawn together as a partnership to offer vocational training programmes within the Management, Guidance, First Aid and Diving sectors.

They can help you get the skills you need to start a job, progress in a career or go on to further or higher education. Additionally through CPD (Continuous Professional Development), a term used to describe the learning activities professionals engage in to develop and enhance their abilities. It enables learning to become conscious and proactive, rather than passive and reactive. A structured, practical and methodical approach to learning helps employers across industries to keep key staff and develop the skills & knowledge in their organisations to maintain a sustainable and competitive advantage.

Engaging in Continuing Professional Development ensures that both academic and practical qualifications do not become out-dated or obsolete; allowing individuals to continually ‘up skill’ or ‘re-skill’ themselves, regardless of occupation, age or educational level. Structured CPD / active learning involves interactive and participation-based study. It is typically proactive and can include attending a training course, conference, workshop, seminar, lecture, e-learning course or CPD certified event. CPD active learning also applies to when professionals take career orientated exams and assessments (the study and revision would be considered self-directed learning, see Self-Directed CPD).

Starting with Coaching and Mentoring Skills at work, PWR Academy will offer a range of programmes to help dive professionals with their career and also provide a number of CPD accredited hours. More programmes will be launched at a later date.
